Review of Maven B1 Binoculars Series

Maven binoculars are known to have a series of binoculars under their name, the B1 stands out as the standard full-sized model that uses the 42 mm lens objectives. The lens has four elements with an ED low dispersion glass fitted to reduce the chromatic distortion on the view edges. The B1 binoculars are available in both the 10×42 and 8×42 models. Design

The objective lenses have a scratch and oil resistant coat on the outer surfaces. The Schmidt-Pechan roof prism technology used has an additional dielectric coating that increases its reflective index resulting in high image quality and brightness.

The housing of the B1 is an alloy magnesium with an ability to be used on any standard tripod stand. The sealing is filled with nitrogen gas for fog protection.

Its waterproof capability has been tested up to a depth of about 1 meter for a maximum of 30 minutes, which qualifies for an IPX7 standard.

The focus system is sharp and can be tuned to different focus levels
